1. Managing Risk in Health and Social Care
Gary MacNamee, Risk Manager.
Small group training for managers, team leaders and case workers using case examples.

2. Stepped Care & Facilitated Self-Help for Anxiety and Depression
David Raines, Cognitive-Behaviour Therapist.
Small group training (maximum 10 participants) in the management of anxiety and depression using Facilitated/Assisted Self-Help.

3. Managing sickness and absence due to mental health problems
Mike Davison, Cognitive-Behaviour Therapist.
A small group workshop for managers and occupational health staff, using group exercises and case scenarios.

5. Managing Stress in the Workplace
Mary Wilson. Cognitive-Behaviour Therapist.
Small group workshop focussed on recognising and managing stress in the workplace. Suitable for managers, clinicians,  occupational health workers.

6. Behavioural Activation for Depression
David Raines & John Rose, Cognitive-Behaviour Therapists.
Recent research has highlighted the effectiveness of Behavioural Activation in the treatment of Depression. Based on the work of Addis and Martell this skills workshop provides participants with the opportunity to develop their knowledge & skills  and ability in the  use  of Behavioural Activation

8. 'Selection Suitability for Short Term CBT in a Primary Care Setting 'Evidence Based Guidelines’.

Speakers & N/West venue to be announced. A day when our invited panel of speakers give us their perspective. Our most exciting event, if only because we don’t know who will accept our invitation to speak!

10. Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. Clinical Skills Workshop.
Molly McKay, David Raines, John Rose
Using case scenarios and role play techniques (with a high teacher to learner ratio) participants will have the opportunity to develop their knowledge, skills and ability in helping clients with OCD.
November 10th, 10am – 4 pm £80.

11. CBT for Children and Adolescents. An introductory training workshop
Phil Horner, Warrington & Jill Proffitt, Stoke-on-Trent. Cognitive-Behaviour Therapists.
A small group workshop for nurses, social workers and counsellors.

12. CBT for Body Dysmorphic Disorder.
